Introduction
A computer is an electronic machine that processes raw data to give information as output.
An electronic device that accepts data as input, and transforms it under the influence of a set of special instructions called Programs, to produce the desired output (referred to as Information).

Importance of information Technology

6. Communication: With improvements in information technology, globalization has increased. The world is brought closer, and the worlds economy is quickly becoming a single interdependent system. Information can be shared quickly and easily from all over the glob, and barriers of linguistic and geographic boundaries can be torn down as people share ideas and information with each other.

Input/Output Devices

Unlike System Software, Application Software is specific for its functionality and completes the task that they are developed to do. The majority of apps that we see on our smartphones are examples of application software.
Cut And Paste

Deleting unnecessary data from a document is called cutting.
In Microsoft Word, you can cut text from one area of a document and paste that text anywhere in the document.
After you cut the text, it gets stored in the clipboard.
If you want to cut any text or word from a document, it is advisable to highlight the word first.
To cut, Right Click → Cut.
The shortcut key is "Ctrl + X".
Paste
Select your text and then copy it..
Use mouse to move the cursor to desired position to paste the copied text.
Click paste to insert the copied text in its new place.
You can paste clipboard information as often as you like.

Importance of Word Processing in Education
As teachers, we are often amazed by our tech-savvy students. There are many classes of computer games.
Internet importance and Need
Internet is the foremost important tool and the prominent resource that is being used by almost every person across the globe. It connects millions of computers, webpages, websites, and servers. Using the internet we can send emails, photos, videos, messages to our loved ones. Or in other words, the internet is a widespread interconnected network of computers and electronics devices(that support internet). It creates a communication medium to share and get information online. If your device is connected to the Internet then only you will be able to access all the applications, websites, social media apps, and many more services. Internet nowadays is considered as the fastest medium for sending and receiving information.
- Online Banking and Transaction: The Internet allows us to transfer money online by the net banking system. Money can be credited or Debited from one account to the other.
- Education, online jobs, freelancing: Through the Internet, we are able to get more jobs via online platforms like Linkedin and to reach more job providers. Freelancing on the other hand has helped the youth to earn a side income and the best part is all this can be done via INTERNET.
The Internet is a great platform for students to learn throughout their lifetime. They can use the internet to learn new things and even acquire degrees through online education programs. Teachers can also use the internet to teach students around the world.
Conclusion
A computer provides the most important tool for research in today’s life that is the internet. The Internet is defined as a network which is formed by connecting different networks. Today the internet can help us with almost anything. Most importantly, the internet helps us in research. Starting from the students studying in school to the scientist working in laboratories, computer, or more precisely the internet, helps everybody in research. The Internet is flooded with abundant information on almost all the topics of which we are aware of. In the summer vacations, students are given some holiday’s homework to research or make projects on the topics they do not know about. For these topics, of which the students do not have any idea, the internet helps them. The Internet can give them a lot of information on the required topic. A scientist can take the help of internet to search the already present discoveries to create a new one. Therefore computers can help a lot in research. So the knowledge about computers is necessary. Everyone should know how to use the computer system and the resources associated with it to improve their own research skills.
